Dr. Taylor teaches in the areas of complementary therapies and nursing science. Earlier in her career she planned and implemented the clinical tracks in the master’s degree program for medical-surgical nursing and critical care nursing and developed the critical care nurse practitioner program. Professor Taylor planned and directed the CAM Clinical Research Training Curriculum (K30 award) from 2000-2006 and the T32 CAM Clinical Research Training Program from 2000-2012 at the University, which supported pre-doctoral trainees and postdoctoral fellows. Her current teaching focus is in complementary therapies, scientific progress in nursing, and nursing knowledge development, including proposal development for PhD program students and capstone project development for DNP program students.
