Dr. Ankur Lodha joined the Cardiovascular Institute of the South in 2014 as an interventional cardiologist. He specializes in the management and treatment of cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease, including interventional procedures. Dr. Lodha completed his medical school in India and later completed his general cardiology fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He continued his training in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at Allegheny General Hospital, where he completed his fellowship in interventional cardiology. He has been a reviewer for many well-known medical journals and has published numerous articles and abstracts. Dr. Lodha performs a variety of interventional procedures ranging from coronary stenting, peripheral, arterial, and venous interventions, including carotid and renal stenting.
