Anke Weidenkaff

Prof. Dr. Anke Weidenkaff completed her PhD degree in Chemistry at ETH Zürich in 2000 and received the Venia Legendi for Solid State Chemistry and Materials Sciences from the University of Augsburg in 2006. She published more than 100 scientific articles on materials research in energy conversion technologies and was appointed Professor at the Department for Chemistry und Bio-chemistry, University of Berne in 2008. As head of the Laboratory for Solid State Chemistry and Catalysis and member of the steering committee for the research program “energy” she coordinates the research on Solid State Chemistry and Catalysis, and Materials for Energy Converter Technologies at Empa, Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology.
