Anja Liebermann completed her dental studies from 2005 to 2010 at the Ludwig Maximilians University (LMU) in Munich. In 2011 she completed her doctorate (Dr. med. dent.). After working for two years in an established practice in Munich, she returned to the Polyclinic for Dental Prosthetics at the University of Munich Hospital (LMU) at the end of 2012 as a research assistant under the direction of Prof. Dr. Daniel Edelhoff. At the end of 2017, she became a senior physician and in January 2021 she became a senior physician and deputy clinic director. Her habilitation on the topic of “Materials science investigations of CAD/CAM-manufactured restorative materials for the development of future-oriented prosthetic treatment concepts” was completed at the beginning of 2019. Apart from the topic of attaching tooth-colored restorations and projects in digital teaching research, this subject area represents her scientific focus. Since July 2022, she has taken over the prosthetics chair at the University of Cologne and works as director of the polyclinic for dental prosthetics.
