Anita Van Niekerk RN, ICU, MBA

Anita van Niekerk achieved her Diploma in General Nursing in 1988, Diploma in Midwifery in 1992, Diploma in Psychiatry in 1993 and Diploma in Intensive Care Nursing in 1997 in South Africa. She has completed her Master’s in Business Administration in June 2015. She started at SKMC as Charge Nurse in Dec 2006 in Cardio-thoracic ICU, moved to General ICU in 2008 as Clinical Nurse Coordinator, and in 2010 she started in the medical unit as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator. In 2012, she was promoted to Clinical Resource Nurse in a 36 bed Medical unit, 27 beds Oncology unit and 30 beds Long term non-ventilated area. Currently, she is working as the Nursing Supervisor for Gulf International Medical Services, Abu Dhabi.
