Dr. Anila Ricks-Cord is a board-certified OB/GYN with a Bachelors in Biology, a minor in Psychology, and a Doctorate of Medicine. She is a dedicated wife, married for more than 20 years, and mother to 3 beautiful and intelligent children who value her time with her family as much as her career. Dr. Anila has studied at Indiana University, John Hopkins University, and Howard University College of Medicine. Her expertise, compassion, and approachable demeanor make her a well sought-after women’s health advocate, educator, and speaker. It’s easy to observe all of the successes in Dr. Anila’s life and career, but she is also transparent about her failures, setting them as “soul food” for her personal and professional growth. It is the totality of her life experiences that Dr. Anila attributes to making her a more thoughtful, considerate, and compassionate person and physician. In her current role, Dr. Anila helps active, overwhelmed women find their voice and become empowered, by training them to invest in themselves in a way that positively affects their health and families.
