Angiolo Gadducci MD

Professor Angiolo Gadducci, Director, Professor, and President of the operating unit of Gynecology and Obstetrics 1 of the Pisana University Hospital has been appointed president of the ITT Foundation, the Tuscan Cancer Institute.

The Foundation promotes scientific research activities and provides support to the institutional activities of the ITT and the regional oncology network, in line with the guidelines of the regional health planning to encourage, together with civil society and social forces, the commitment to the fight against cancer through cancer research, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

The Foundation's support for ITT activities also extends to the improvement of assistance, including palliative care, psychological support, and quality of life, to the coordination of assistance programs, and to the organization of training events.

Gadducci graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1978, while in 1982 he specialized in Gynecology and Obstetrics, also in Pisa, and in 1986 in Oncology at the University of Modena.
