Angelos Halaris MD, PhD, APA, ACNP, CINP

Dr. Angelos Halaris is a board-certified psychiatrist and Professor of Psychiatry at Loyola University Medical School. He is an active member of many national and international organizations. He has received multiple teaching awards for his supervision of residents and medical students. He is recognized for his research accomplishments, having published numerous research articles, review articles, and books about psychiatric conditions and psychopharmacology. He has received awards from national and international organizations. Dr. Halaris’ interests include affective and anxiety disorders, including major depressive and bipolar disorders, treatment resistance, pharmacogenomics, and general psychiatry. He is a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association as well as a former board examiner.
