Angelo Stuto MD

Dr. Angelo Stuto is Head of the Coloproctological and Pelvic Floor Surgery Unit at the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato in Milan and collaborates with the La Madonnina Nursing Home, Smart Clinic, and Palazzo Della Salute - Wellness Clinic. Since 2022 he has been Head of the Coloproctological Surgery and Pelvic Floor Section - General Surgery Unit of the Sant'Ambrogio Clinical Institute.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Florence and then specialized in Pediatric Surgery at the University of Verona. He moved to the University of Trieste, where he obtained a second specialization in General Surgery. In 2018 he obtained authorization for the use of Robotic Surgery in Naples.

During his career, he deals with Laparoscopic and minimally invasive, Colon-Proctological, Pelvic Floor, Transanal Surgery, Chronic Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, and Robotic Colorectal and Pelvic Floor Surgery.

Since 2012 he is the National Editor of the HepatoGastroenterology journal published by the International Association of Surgeons Gastroenterologists and Oncologists (IASGO). He collaborates as a Reviewer with Colorectal Disease and Disease of the Colon & Rectum.

In 2005, Dr. Angelo Stuto obtained a license to practice medicine in the United Kingdom (full registration by the General Medical Council London).
