Dr. Angelo Russo is a specialist in Child Neuropsychiatry. He mainly deals with epilepsy, headache, neurodevelopment disorders, specific learning disorders, language disorders, and pediatric neurology. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Bologna in 2009 (110 cum laude). Specialized in Child Neuropsychiatry at the University of Parma in 2015.
In the academic year 2014-2015, he attended the Epilepsy Surgery Program at the Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami, Florida as a fellow. In 2016 and 2017, he was a Research Associate Intern in the Seizure Unit of the Department of Pediatric Neurology at Nicklaus Children's Hospital of Miami (NCH). He continues to collaborate with the NCH team in Miami in the fields of education and research.
As of 2017, Dr. Russo is a lecturer at the Academy of Developmental Neuropsychology ( AnSvi. ). Since 2019, he has been the Scientific Director of various national and international courses on the interpretation of the EEG in Pediatric Epilepsy. Furthermore, he has participated as a speaker at numerous national and international conferences. President of the International Cultural AssociationINCE (International Network on Childhood Epilepsy) and active member of UTASK (European Epilepsy Surgery Task Force) and NETRE (Network for Therapy in Rare Epilepsies). Currently, she is a Child Neuropsychiatrist at the IRCCS, Institute of Neurological Sciences of Bologna, and some private medical centers located in Italy.
