Dr. Angela Wu is an Associate Professor of Pathology at the University of Michigan. She obtained her medical degree at Northwestern University in Chicago and completed her residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, followed by fellowships in surgical pathology and genitourinary pathology at the University of Michigan. She joined the faculty at the University of Michigan following completion of her training in 2010. She currently serves as the director of the genitourinary pathology fellowship at the University of Michigan.

Her passions include mentoring and teaching residents and fellows in genitourinary pathology and participating in a busy clinical and consultation service, which receives> 2000 extramural consultations in genitourinary pathology per year. Her broad research interests include classification of renal tumors, particularly oncocytic renal tumors, diagnosis of renal biopsies, intraductal lesions of the prostate, and rare/unusual testicular tumors. She has given several short courses and lectures focused on diagnostic pitfalls in genitourinary pathology at annual USCAP meetings.
