Angela Peron is a Peron Clinical geneticist at ASST Santi Paolo e Carlo in Lombardia, Italy. She received her medical degree from the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan (Italy) and completed her residency in medical genetics at the University of Milan (Italy).
Dr. Peron’s clinical interests include dysmorphology, evaluation of multiple birth defects and/or intellectual disability, genetics of epilepsy, and an autism spectrum disorder. Her research focuses on the molecular and clinical aspects of Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC), Rett syndrome, and the genetics of epileptic encephalopathies.
Dr. Peron is a member of the Italian Society of Human Genetics (SIGU), the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG), and the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG), where she was recently elected as a Board Member.
