Dr. Angela Parry-Hanson Kunadu is a Food Science lecturer at the Department of Food Science, University of Ghana. She has both MSc and Ph.D. in Food Science from the University of Pretoria, and BSc in Cell Biotechnology from the University of Alberta. Her research interests are in the field of food microbiology, food safety systems, development of technologies to control pathogens in foods.

She is a 2015 African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) Fellow, the 1st Vice of Ghanaian Women in Agricultural Research and Development (GhaWARD), a 2016 Cambridge Africa Research Excellence (CAPREx) Fellow and the patron of Guzakuza Agripreneur club. She is a member of the committee for setting microbiological criteria for foods in Ghana and the national Codex Sub-committee for Food Hygiene.
