Angela Mary Alexander BPharm, MSc, PhD, MRPharmS, MCPP, FRPharmS

Angela Alexander is Professor of Pharmacy Education and past Director of the Centre for Inter-Professional Postgraduate Education and Training, School of Pharmacy, University of Reading, Angela has undertaken contract work in pharmacy practice, education and research; including evaluation of the Integrated Pre-registration Scheme for Basildon and Thurrock General Hospitals NHS Trust, evaluation of Pre-registration Shared Study Day training courses for North Thames Pharmacy Education and Training, and evaluation of a Technician Self Development Programme for North Thames Pharmacy Education and Training.

Angela qualified with a first class Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in 1973. She has worked in hospital pharmacy, community pharmacy, and academia. She has obtained an MSc and a Ph.D. in the field of pharmacy and two further MScs in Educational and Social Research Methods, and Earth Science. She gained Membership of the College of Pharmacy Practice in 1989 and continued to serve the College on various committees.
