Angela M. Caliendo MD, PhD

Angela M. Caliendo, MD, PhD is a Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. She serves as the Vice Chair Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Director of Emory Medical Laboratories, and the Medical Director of the Microbiology and Molecular Diagnostics Laboratories at Emory University Hospital. She received a PhD (Biochemistry) and MD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA and an Infectious Diseases fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston MA.
