Angela Kays Burden MBA, MSW

Angela Burden is a dedicated health care professional, who brings her experience in leading complex cross-functional strategic initiatives in both the United States and Canada to her new role at the Mississauga Halton LHIN.

Prior to joining the LHIN, Angela worked as Vice President, Regional Programming and Strategic Development at the Mississauga Halton CCAC and as Director of Innovative Practice at Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK) where she was responsible for system transformation efforts, research and evaluation, and strategic partnerships. She was instrumental in providing leadership to the development and implementation of the Caroline Family Health Team functional integration care coordination model. Angela has worked in various levels of government in Ontario and New York State, and brings a client-centred and community development lens to her work.
