Andy Kenwright

Andy Kenwright is a Statistical Scientist at Roche Products Ltd based in Welwyn Garden City, U.K. He has twenty years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with 9 years as Head of statistics at CRO prior to Roche. Education-wise Andy gained his first degree at Liverpool, followed by post-graduate work at Leeds and then Sheffield. He started in pre-clinical work and then into all phases of clinical studies from knee replacements to erectile dysfunction via asthma and hypertension. Andy has dabbled in medical writing, biomarker evaluation and pharmacokinetics.

Recent experience has been based in rheumatoid arthritis, osteo-arthritis and Virology, being Pediatric subject matter expert, biomarker forum chair and regulatory advisor at Roche Welwyn. Filing several new indications for unmet pediatric needs, Andy counterbalances this with being a mature products advisor and hence has experience of overcoming a variety of pharmaceutical industry regulatory hurdles across the lifespan of pharmaceutical products. Andy has an interest in health economics, personalized healthcare, and of course adaptation of clinical designs and procedures to gain the most from and for our (young) patients.
