Dr. Andria Peterson received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Roseman University of Health Sciences in Henderson, Nevada, in 2008. She was awarded the Dean’s Award for an Outstanding Student at graduation. She completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada and joined St. Rose Dominican in 2009 as the pediatric/neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) clinical pharmacist.
Dr. Peterson maintains a full faculty appointment at Roseman University of Health Sciences, College of Pharmacy, as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice. She currently teaches in the endocrine and pharmacokinetic blocks for first-year students and in the endocrine, infectious disease and pulmonology blocks for second year students. She also offers an advanced experiential (APPE) rotation in the NICU for pharmacy students.
