Andrew Webster MD

Dr. Andrew Webster, MD, is a physician and clinical academic affiliated with the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He specializes in infectious diseases and medical microbiology, with clinical and research interests focused on the diagnosis, epidemiology, and management of infectious diseases. Dr. Webster completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Baylor College of Medicine in 2013. He then pursued residency training in Internal Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine from 2013 to 2016.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. Also, he holds certification in Medical Microbiology from the American Board of Pathology. His scholarly work includes research on infectious disease epidemiology and emerging pathogens, including investigations related to SARS-CoV-2 outbreaks, diagnostic biomarkers, and community-level infection patterns.
