Dr. Trout received his medical degree from Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota, and completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Trout is double boarded in Pediatric Radiology and Nuclear Radiology after completing a Pediatric Radiology fellowship at Cincinnati Children's and a Nuclear Medicine fellowship at the University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Trout is active in many clinical programs at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, including his role as lead Radiologist for the Pancreas Care Center. Dr. Trout is also active in several national societies including the Society for Pediatric Radiology (SPR), Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI), the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT).
