Andrew S. Little MD, BS, FAANS, FACS

Andrew Little, MD, specializes in the treatment of pituitary tumors and other lesions of the skull base. He uses minimally invasive surgery and endoscopic endonasal techniques to improve patient comfort. He also treats nonpituitary brain tumors and performs complex spine surgery. After graduating magna cum laude from Yale University in Hartford, Connecticut, with a degree in biochemistry and biophysics, Dr. Little worked as a research scientist for a biotech company in California. Fascinated by the clinical application of his research, he was inspired to pursue a career in medicine.

Dr. Little went on to earn his medical degree at the University of California – Irvine and complete his neurosurgical residency at Barrow Neurological Institute at Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. Dr. Little trained as a fellow under the guidance of Charles Teo, MD, in Sydney, Australia (minimally invasive surgery and neuroendoscopy) and under Volker K. H. Sonntag, MD, at Barrow (spinal neurosurgery). He has published numerous peer-reviewed medical articles and his research focuses on minimally invasive surgery.
