Andrew Rochford is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Newham University Hospital and Barts Health NHS Trust. He has been involved in BAPEN for several years as part of the Pan-London group and more recently through BAPEN Medical. His clinical interests include all aspects of nutrition and inflammatory bowel disease. Andrew holds a number of leadership roles within Barts Health and is particularly interested in quality improvement. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys music and is the Musical Director of the Hampstead Sinfonietta.
Andrew has a strong reputation for multi-professional clinical education at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels and took over as Chair of the Education & Training Committee in February 2014. The committee is keen to build on the success of the Decision Trees and will be working more closely with the regional reps and other BAPEN committees to ensure that education and training become a fundamental, and accessible benefit for our members.
