Andrew John Marks

Fellowship-trained in pediatric urology, Dr. Andrew Marks joined Children’s Hospital in September 2011 as a pediatric urologist. His areas of special interest include spina bifida, hypospadias and pediatric urolithiasis.
Andrew Marks, MDDr. Marks earned his medical degree from University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, in Edmonton, Alberta. He did his residency in urology at University of British Columbia, Department of Urologic Sciences, in Vancouver, BC. He completed his master’s degree in clinical investigation at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Ill. He did his pediatric urology fellowship at Children’s Memorial Hospital, Division of Pediatric Urology, in Chicago, Ill. He is board eligible.
Dr. Marks has published in several peer-reviewed publications, including “World Journal of Urology,” “Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews,” “Urology” and “Journal of Pediatric Urology.” He also coauthored a book chapter regarding laser physics for urologists in the textbook, “Urinary Stone Disease.”
Dr. Marks is a member of several professional societies, including the American Urological Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He is also a member of Specialty Medical Group.
