Andrew John Dunn MBBS, FRCS

Andrew John Dunn, MBBS, FRCS has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Bury St Edmunds since 2003. Andrew combines a busy NHS and private practice and works at the BMI St Edmunds Hospital and the West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds. Andrew is a high-volume knee and hip arthroplasty surgeon. During the last 12 months, Andrew performed 142 total hip replacements and 90 total knee replacements. Towards the end of Andrew's training, Andrew undertook a fellowship in Auckland, New Zealand specializing in Knee Surgery. Andrew is an experienced arthroscopic knee surgeon and performs ACL reconstructions/repairs using the latest techniques. Andrew submits data to the National Joint Registry and National Ligament Registry. Andrew was involved in a National Quality Improvement Collaborative to reduce infection rates in patients undergoing joint replacement surgery.
