Dr Hoyle is King Edward VII’s Hospital’s founder General Practitioner, the first onsite GP at London’s foremost private hospital. He obtained his medical degree in 1996 from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, and spent nearly a decade in hospital medicine, rotating through cardiology, intensive care and renal medicine at a number of the world’s centres of excellence before obtaining his qualification in primary care medicine.
Dr Hoyle was also appointed an Associate Consultant to the Medical Protection Society as a subject matter expert in patient safety and risk management, and was handpicked to run a pioneering initiative that trained nursing staff in an NHS walk-in centre in a busy, multi-cultural area. Thereafter, Dr Hoyle was selected to join a major public sector department where he provides primary care to an elite C suite group of government officials, in addition to their staff of several hundred.
Dr Hoyle is a champion of preventive health care, and is committed to promoting the benefits of risk profiling and appropriately targeted health screening as a contributor to improving patient lives. In addition, he has substantial experience in the provision of occupational medicine and travel health services. Dr Hoyle is well known for demanding the best for his patients and excels at matching patients to the most appropriate providers of secondary care; he holds admission rights to King Edward VII’s Hospital.
