Andrew Dwyer, Ph.D., FNP-BC, is an assistant professor at the Connell School of Nursing. Prior to his arrival at Boston College, he worked as an assistant professor at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland as well as a scientific collaborator in the Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Service at the university hospital of Lausanne (CHUV).

Dr. Dwyer received his Ph.D. from the University of Lausanne, a master’s in nursing from the MGH institute of Health Professions, and bachelor of science in human development and family studies from Cornell University. He is a certified family nurse practitioner and previously worked as a nurse practitioner and clinical research manager in the Reproductive Endocrine Unit of the Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Dwyer currently serves as a reviewer for multiple scientific journals and is a member of variety scientific organizations, including the Global Genetic Nursing Alliance, International Society for Nurses in Genetics, the Endocrine Nurses Society, European Society of Endocrinology, Pediatric Endocrine Nursing Society and the European Society of Pediatric Endocrinology.
