Andrew Mumford is the Professor of Haematology at the University of Bristol and University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. He is also the Clinical Director of the West-of-England Genomic Medicine Centre, one of thirteen English centres responsible for delivery of the 100,000 Genomes Project. Professor Mumford is a Principal Investigator in the NIHR BioResource Rare Diseases and a co-chair of the Thrombogenomics genetic testing programme for bleeding and platelet disorders. His research interests are the molecular genetics of inherited bleeding and platelet disorders.
