Andrew Conrad PhD

Dr. Conrad is the co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of LabCorp’s National Genetics Institute and has served as the responsible head for the FDA product license for an automated device for the detection of HIV-1, HIV-2, and HCV in plasma from large numbers of donors. In addition, Dr. Conrad also holds the position of global head of Clinical Trials Services for LabCorp’s Esoterix, Inc. and is the founder and laboratory director of the California Health and Longevity Institute (CHLI). Dr. Conrad serves on the board of directors of Castle and Cooke, Inc., Dole Foods, Inc., and Autism Speaks. Dr. Conrad graduated with a BS in neurobiology and a PhD in cell biology from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).
