Andres Rodriguez-lorenzo MD, PhD

Dr. Andrés Rodriguez-Lorenzo, MD, PhD, is the Chief of Plastic Surgery, Department of Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery, at the Uppsala University Hospital in Sweden. Dr. Rodriquez-Lorenzo obtained his MD at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela and his Ph.D. at the Universidad de A Corunais.

He is the former Director, of the International Fellowship Program in Reconstructive Microsurgery and former Director of Microsurgery at Uppsala University Hospital in Sweden. He serves on the editorial boards of the European Journal of Plastic Surgery and Annals of Plastic Surgery.

His research interests include Facial Paralysis, Head and Neck Reconstruction, Face Transplantation, and Microvascular Transplants.
