Andres Missair MD, EDRA

Andres Missair, MD, EDRA is a Division Chief of Acute Pain Medicine at the Miami VA Hospital and Chairman of the VA National Acute Pain Medicine Committee at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He and Dr. Ralf Gebhard co-founded Anesthesia without Borders, a volunteer organization dedicated to conducting regional anesthesia workshops and equipment donations in developing countries. 

Andres received his MD degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2003, he completed his residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain at the University of Miami in 2008 and was awarded the European Diploma of Regional Anesthesia from the European Society of Regional Anesthesia in 2009.
