During his training in radiotherapy in Nancy, Dr. Huertas specialized in high-tech medicine thanks to a modern technical platform ( VMAT, radiotherapy in stereotactic conditions, brachytherapy guided by images). He is particularly interested in radiotherapy under stereotactic conditions, on which he wrote a dissertation and his exercise thesis published in 2015 in the journal Radiotherapy and Oncology. He participated in the writing of the article on radiotherapy of hepatic tumors in the French reference work RECORD.
He is the winner of the Lucien Mallet Prize for the year 2015.
Head of Clinic – Assistant at the European Georges Pompidou Hospital in Paris, he collaborates with the oncology departments of the main Parisian hospitals for the treatment of all types of cancer. He is also responsible for training interns in the department and participates in several clinical research projects.
Dr. Huertas has been a trainer for the Association for Continuing Education in Radiotherapy Oncology (AFCOR) since 2018 on radiotherapy under stereotaxic conditions and for the University Diploma in High-Tech Radiotherapy since 2017 (course on Indications for IMRT and radiotherapy under stereotactic).
