Andreas Serra trained in Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Public Health with a focus on ultrasound and its implementation in the medical curriculum. Currently he is the Head of Department Internal Medicine and Nephrology at the Klinik Hirslanden in Zurich, Switzerland, professor at the University of Zurich and Master of Public Health at Harvard.
