Andreas Kuchar was born in Vienna in 1959 he completed his medical studies at the University of Vienna in 1988 and then worked as a consultant in the pharmaceutical industry. After working as an assistant doctor at the University Eye Clinic in Vienna, he was appointed senior physician. Together with Stephan Kaminski, he founded the first eye & laser clinic in Vienna in 1998.
He is currently working at Eye & laser - Dobling Private Hospital. He is also head in Head of oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery at Medical University Vienna. his clinical interests are Trauma surgery in ophthalmology, eyelid and lacrimal trauma / reconstructive surgery.
