Andreas Krause PhD

Prof. Dr. Andreas Krause has been working as chief physician at the Immanuel Hospital in Berlin since 2002. After his studies in Marburg, his medical career took him to the Siegen District Hospital, the Medical University Clinic in Marburg, the Medical Clinic of the University of Erlangen the Charite – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, and finally to the Immanuel Hospital. Prof. Krause is an internist and rheumatologist.

He habilitated in 1993 in the field of internal medicine, was appointed a year later as a private lecturer, and in 1999 as an adjunct professor. Prof. Krause is the author of numerous scientific publications in the field of clinical immunology and rheumatology, especially in the field of infection-associated rheumatic diseases, and continues to be scientifically active, especially in the field of clinical studies. He is involved in student training and rheumatological medical training.
