Andreas Dietz MD, PhD

Dr. Dietz is director of the ENT Department, University hospital of Leipzig. During the time of his assistant doctor, deputy and consultant he was working at the ENT Department University hospital of Heidelberg. In the context of numerous studies his scientific work concentrated on head and neck tumours.

He is internationally well known as an expert in the field of head and neck cancer.  Since 2001 Prof. Dietz is member of the executive board of the working committee Oncology of the German Society for otorhinolaryngology, head and neck surgery. He is active in numerous committees, such as the German Society of Cancer, European Laryngeal Society and EORTC Head and Neck group. of honour of the Royal Belgian ENT society and the Indian Head and Neck foundation. He is executive board member of the Innovation Center for Computer Assisted Surgery (ICCAS) Leipzig, and director of the new IRDC‐Academy.
