Andreas Binder

Priv.-Doz. Dr. Andreas Binder studied medicine in the Medical School at the Christian-Albrechts University Kiel. During his studies he was already interested in the pain research and started to work on his medical thesis in the Division of Pain Research and Therapy, University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein, Campus Kiel, Germany under the supervision of Prof. R. Baron. He obtained is degree of Dr. med. and Priv.-Doz. and Dr. med. habil. from the Christian-Albrechts University of Kiel for studies with the main focus on hyperalgesia. After finishing his medical studies he worked as a resident physician and research fellow in the Division of Pain Research and Therapy and the Department of Neurology.
