Andrea L. Neimann MD, MSCE

Andrea L. Neimann is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the NYU School of Medicine, where she is also Director of the Dermatology Clinical Studies Unit and Director of the Dermatopharmacology Fellowship Program.

She completed a residency in Dermatology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, where she had completed a research fellowship in dermatopharmacology. Previously, her master degree research in clinical epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania focused on the relationship between psoriasis, cardiovascular disease, and cardiovascular risk factors.

Dr. Neimann’s clinical interests include medical dermatology, women’s health, psoriasis and inflammatory diseases of the skin. Her academic interests include teaching residents and designing and conducting clinical trials. She is board certified in both Dermatology and in Internal Medicine. Dr. Neimann practiced medicine in Sri Lanka, England, and South Africa before completing her Internal Medicine residency in Philadelphia and launching her dermatology career in New York.
