Dr. Andrea Girman is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, pediatric residency program, and Bloomberg School of Public Health, as well as the Beth Israel Medical Center Continuum Center for Health and Healing Integrative Medicine Fellowship. An avid proponent of integrative, functional, and lifestyle medicine, health optimization at all stages of life, the healing power of food, and preventive care, Dr. Girman writes and speaks nationally on these issues. She is the former Director of Medical Education for Genova Diagnostics (2008 – 2106) and is a co-author of Mosby’s Handbook of Herbs and Supplements and their Therapeutic Uses (Mosby, 2002) and a contributor to Integrative Medicine: Principles for Practice (McGraw-Hill, 2004) as well as Textbook of Natural Medicine, 4th Edition (Elsevier Health Sciences, 2012).
