Andre Vianna PhD

Dr. Andre Gustavo Daher Vianna Professor at the School of Medicine at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUC-PR). Executive director of the Curitiba Diabetes Center, the endocrinologist also works as a clinical researcher at the CDC and Hospital Nossa Senhora das Graças. He Graduated in Medicine at the Federal University of Paraná, a residency in Internal Medicine at HC-UFPR, and in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Hospital Brigadeiro-SP.

Dr. Andre is a member of The Endocrine Society, in the United States, of the Brazilian Society of Endocrinology and Metabology (SBEM), and the scientific director of the Brazilian Society of Diabetes, in Parana.

Dr. Andre is an active attendee of the annual congresses of SBEM, SBD, ALAD, ADA, EASD, and IDF. Speaker at Boehringer, Lilly, MSD, Bristol, and Novo-Nordisk laboratories in the area of ​​diabetes. Principal Investigator in the SAVOR protocol – Type 2 Diabetes. Sub-investigator in OPI 002-2008, EX 1000, MK 431-064, EX 1000-1865, LEADER, GETGOAL, and Acro QoL, among others.
