Andre Van Niekerk MD

Andre Van Niekerk, MD is an extraordinary professor at the University of Pretoria. He works as a part-time consultant at the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health, University of Pretoria, and in private practice at the NetCare Clinton and NetCareAlberlito Hospitals. He is the Chairman of the Allergy Society of South Africa (ALLSA), the ALLSA liaison for the PimaryImmunedefficiency Working Group (PIDDSA) of ALLSA, a director of the Allergy Foundation of South Africa (AFSA), and a member of the South African Thoracic Society (SATS) and the African Society for Immunodeficiencies (ASID). André serves on the Committee for the Prevention of Allergy at the World Allergy Organisation.
