Andre Mol is the Director of North Carolina OMR program. He received his D.D.S. degree from Utrecht University in 1987 and a Ph.D. degree from the VU University in Amsterdam in 1992. Following completion of an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester NY, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Eastman Department of Dentistry of the University of Rochester. Dr. Mol completed the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology graduate program of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology since 2001.
Dr. Mol is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A major portion of his time is devoted to graduate education. He also teaches at the predoctoral level, provides radiologic services through the UNC Dental Faculty Practice and serves as a research mentor for graduate students. Dr. Mol has contributed to the AAOMR and to other professional organizations as a committee member and chair, as an associated editor for Dentomaxillofacial Radiology and as a councilor for the Diagnostic Systems Group of the IADR.
