André M. Schmidt

Dr. André, Schmidt has Graduate degree in Biochemistry from the Leibniz University Hannover with a special focus on Theoretical Chemistry. Science doctorate in 1998 at the Technical University Darmstadt on protein folding studies. During this period, ownership of an advisory business for mobile computing and from 1998 to 2003, management consultant for McKinsey & Company in Munich. As commercial director, management of a rehabilitation clinic for three years, before taking over the duties of COO for Casa Reha Holding GmbH Oberursel from 2006 to 2010. From 2010 to 2011, renewed employment with McKinsey & Company – now as COO of the McKinsey Hospital Institute in Frankfurt am Main. From 2011 onwards, CEO of the RHM clinics and care homes located in Deidesheim and since December 2014, CEO of MEDIAN located in Berlin, a national healthcare company (market leader in rehabilitation), which emerged from the merger of the RHM and the MEDIAN clinic groups.
