Andre Lacroix MD

Andre Lacroix is an Endocrinologist, clinician-scientist, and a member of the Endocrine Division at CHUM and Director of the Laboratory of Endocrine Pathophysiology at CHUM Research center since 1980. Major research interests: Molecular mechanisms and pathophysiology of adrenal tumors and hyperplasias leading to Cushing’s syndrome, primary aldosteronism, and adrenal tumorigenesis. Role of aberrant adrenal hormone receptors in adrenal over function. New drugs in the therapy of Cushing’s disease and primary aldosteronism, adrenocortical cancer, and pheochromocytomas.
