Andre C. Lapeyre Iii MD

Andre C. Lapeyre III, M.D., is a board-certified internist and cardiologist. He attended Tulane University Medical School and completed both of his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship training at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Lapeyre is particularly interested in ischemic heart disease, acute coronary syndromes, cardiac catheterization, and coronary angiography as well as general cardiology.

Dr. Lapeyre has been on the staff of Mayo Clinic for over 30 years. During his tenure, he has served as director of the mobile cardiac catheterization laboratory, bringing cardiology consulting services and angiography to many communities in the region. Dr. Lapeyre has been named teacher of the year by both the internal medicine residents and the cardiovascular subspecialty fellows. He sees patients in the hospital and outpatient clinics, including coronary artery disease, atypical chest pain, general cardiology, internal medicine resident education, and cardiovascular fellow education clinics.
