Andras Forster DMD, PhD

Dr. Andras Forster graduated in 2006. He completed a three-year full-time residency program at Szeged University and received a specialization in Operative Dentistry and Prosthodontics in 2009. He continued to teach operative dentistry at the Szeged University as an assistant professor for five more years. Dr. Andras Forster has been studying, teaching, and researching biomimetic methods since 2009 and is a pioneer of the biomimetic concept in his home country.

In 2013 he transitioned to a private practice and has been the leading restorative dentist at the world-famous clinic of Dr. Istvan Urban in Budapest since 2016. In 2019 he got his PhD degree for the thesis "Biomimetic Restoration of Endodontically Treated Posterior Teeth". In the publications of the thesis, he laid down the foundations of the new generation of short fiber-reinforced restorations of endodontically treated teeth. Dr. Andras Forster is the author and co-author of several international publications. He is an international lecturer and has founded his own education platform, the Biomimetic Hub.
