Anders Jeppsson MD, PhD

Anders Jeppsson, MD, PhD was Graduated from Linkoping’s University in Sweden in 1989. He is a Board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon in 1997. He has done his Research fellowship at Mayo Clinic in 1997. and PhD thesis on renal function in cardiac surgery defended in 1998. He is a Senior consultant at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg, Sweden since 2002. Full professor since 2008. Published more than 170 original scientific articles. He has a Research interest in bleeding and hemostasis, and cardiovascular epidemiology. Presently he was Chairman of the Clinical Guideline Committee in the European Association for Cardiothoracic Surgery (EACTS) and Secretary-general in Scandinavian Association for Thoracic Surgery (SATS).
