Anders Hogner is a drug hunter with +15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the field of chemistry/computer-aided drug design. Hogner gained M.Sc. in Chemistry (Gothenburg University Sweden) and a Ph.D. degree in X-ray protein crystallography from the University of Copenhagen (2002). Hogner subsequently joined AstraZeneca as a computational chemist in 2002 and has since then held various positions within the organization. Since 2010 Hogner has led and shaped computational chemistry within the Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolic diseases (CVRM) disease unit through a number of organizational changes and in 2012 became head of computational chemistry in CVRM.

As part of Hogner's role and led AstraZeneca’s global CADD strategy and global head of IT demands within chemistry. Hogner has a proven track record of impacting projects milestones through innovative approaches resulting in being named co-inventor on 3 clinical drug projects and the ability to bring in new methodologies and collaborations. Hogner is passionate about talent management, mentoring, and developing people to achieve key deliverables in a performance-driven setting.
