Mr Anand Kasbekar, Consultant ENT Surgeon at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and Honorary (Consultant) Assistant Professor, University of Nottingham, School of Medicine. Anand completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Nottingham before being trained as an adult and paediatric Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon in London, Cambridge, Glasgow and Liverpool. Anand has undertaken visiting fellowships at Stanford University, California and at the House Clinic, Los Angeles, USA. He has also undertaken a post-training specialist fellowship in all types of hearing implants, chronic ear conditions, balance disorders and Neurotology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge.

His interest in ear pathology led him to complete a Doctorate in Medicine at Cambridge University Hospitals in collaboration with the Medical Research Council Cognition & Brain Sciences Unit investigating Cochlear nerve monitoring in cochlear implant and acoustic neuroma surgery. Anand is research active and is involved as Chief investigator, Principal investigator and co-investigator in several research studies to do with ear conditions.
