Anam Akhtar MS, PhD

Anam Akhtar is a Senior Editor at Springer Nature Group. She completed her education at the Middlesex University. She developing an anti-HPV agent using liposomal nanotechnology for the management of cervical cancers. She has designed a ligand-conjugated drug delivery vehicle, specifically tailored for HPV-infected cancer cells, which shows minimal effect on non-HPV infected cells and normal cells. Prior to this, at Sheffield University, she investigated locomotive response generation in polymer nanoparticles by combining enzyme encapsulation and membrane topology design. For her research, she has dealt with liposome, polymersome, and inorganic nanoparticle synthesis and primarily uses flow cytometry, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, confocal microscopy, protein quantification, and other relevant assays.
