Dr. Ana Carolina Proenca Da Fonseca, PhD is a Post Doctoral Researcher at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation. She holds a master's degree (2014) and a doctorate (2019) from the Postgraduate Program in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (Fiocruz/RJ). She has experience in the area of ​​Human and Medical Molecular Genetics, Epidemiology, and Molecular Biology, working mainly in diseases such as polygenic and monogenic obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases.
